Alexa mode enables the Alexa assistant on the Lynx robot anywhere in the world, regardless of the time zone. With the Alexa Assistant on your mobile phone, you can interact with your Lynx robot in a whole new way. You’ll be able to hear, see, talk, and even interact with your Lynx robot – all right through your mobile phone’s Alexa mode.
Alexa Mode:
Alexa Mode – Activates your Lynx with the Alexa Assistant-enabled in your phone’s settings. Then, you can talk to your Lynx robot, wave it at someone, ask it for action, or even dance by simply using the Alexa Assistant on your mobile phone.
Android users: Alexa mode for Android is similar to the Android version. You just need to activate your Lynx assistant, then you can do the things that Alexa on Android can do.
Bluetooth: Alexa on Android works with the Bluetooth feature. Once activated, you can talk to your Lynx through the Bluetooth feature on your phone. You just need to activate your Lynx through the Alexa Assistant on your phone and then talk to it. The speaker will emit an audio message which can be interpreted by the Android.
Voice Activated:
The voice-activated feature allows the Alexa assistant to work just like you would expect it to. There are many uses for this feature; it can activate a Lynx robot when there’s a caller on the cell phone, it can activate an Alexa Assistant on a device that is used outdoors, or it can activate a Lynx Bot whenever the mobile phone rings. The voice-activated feature is very useful to activate your Lynx Bot while on the move.
In addition, it is possible to activate the Alexa Assistant on the mobile phone. If there’s a caller on the cell phone, it will announce that person to the person on the Lynx Bot, or if it is an outdoor activity, the voice will let the person know that he/she is being called.
On the phone, it can be done by just saying “Alexa” and then the name of the person on the phone. Alternatively, you can say “Alexa”, say “Call Me”, and then the name of the person on the phone.
You may have noticed that most of the Alexa assistants on mobile phones are not available in Canada. However, if you’re looking for an Alexa Assistant on your phone, you can do a search on Google, you will find that a lot of companies are working to make Alexa devices available to people all over the world.
With the new version of Alexa, the Lynx Robot will be able to speak on the Lynx platform, which is a free software platform. It will be possible to download the Alexa Assistant on your phone and talk to your Lynx robot via your mobile phone.
Compatibility:
Some devices are not yet supported by Lynx. For example, devices that run on the HTC Desire and Nokia E65 don’t have the ability to talk directly to the Lynx Android Bot. However, these devices are available on the market already.
Other than devices from HTC and Nokia, you will also be able to purchase devices that support Alexa, including phones from LG and Samsung. If your phone has the ability to run Android, you can talk to your Lynx robot through them. However, you should be careful, because some devices do not allow you to talk directly to Lynx Android devices.
Even if your Lynx Android Robot is not compatible with a particular device, you can still talk to it via the Bluetooth feature on your phone. However, you will not be able to use Alexa from the phone itself. This is because Alexa’s voice is coming from your PC, not your phone.
